Thank you for your interest in joining the Shakespeare Association for our 45th annual meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. Book Exhibits are perennially popular features of the conference, and SAA members have come to view the exhibits and publisher representatives who staff them as fundamental to their conference experience. This page contains information about the conference hotel and its room rates, exhibit dates and times, table and advertising charges, and shipping instructions.

Hotel and conference registrations open 1 January 2017. The SAA’s discounted rate is $140 per night for single and double occupancy, $160 per night for triple and quadruple occupancy, and $195 for club-level rooms. When making hotel reservations, be sure to identify yourself as an SAA participant to secure the negotiated rates.

Shipping  and  Receiving Information

Shipments to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta must include:

-Your company name and the name of the event (“Shakespeare Association Conference”)
-Hold for arrival 00/00/00
-The name of your organization’s on-site contact
-c/o Hyatt Regency Atlanta 265 Peachtree Street, NE Atlanta, GA 30303

Packages will be accepted beginning 2 April 2017.

Shipping Charges: Boxes less than 25 lbs. – $5.00** each + carrier fee (s); Boxes more than 25 lbs. – $10.00** each + carrier fee(s) Receiving Charges: Boxes less than 25 lbs. – $10.00** each; Boxes 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. – $20.00** each; Boxes more than 50 lbs. – $38.00** each; Pallets – $50** each *No charge (except carrier fees) for envelopes.

Exhibit Location and Times

The exhibit will be open:

Thursday, 6 April: 8:00AM – 6:00PM
Friday, 7 April: 8:00AM – 6:00PM
Saturday, 8 April: 8:00AM – 12:00PM

Wednesday, 5 April – 6:00 pm Set-up can begin (please send credit card authorization to hotel per instructions).
The hotel will not deliver any packages without the credit card authorization.

Charges to Exhibit 

Fees are $350 for one skirted table and $200 for each additional skirted table. The link provided below also offers the opportunity to reserve power ($60) and internet access ($100) for exhibit table(s) and contains an open comments section in which you can convey special requests to the SAA office.

Ad Space in the 2017 Conference Program

Full-page ad (4 3/4″ wide by 8″ tall): $1,000
Half-page ad (4 3/4″ wide by 3 3/4″ tall): $600
