Thank you for your interest in joining the Shakespeare Association for our 46th annual meeting in Los Angeles, California. Book Exhibits are perennially popular features of the conference, and SAA members have come to view the exhibits and publisher representatives who staff them as fundamental to their conference experience. This page contains information about the conference hotel and its room rates, exhibit dates and times, table and advertising charges, and shipping instructions.

All arrangements for exhibiting should be made with the SAA office (not the conference hotel). Please contact us with any questions: shakespeare@georgetown.edu.

Rates

Hotel and conference registrations open 1 January 2018. The SAA’s discounted rate is $155 per night for single and double occupancy. When making hotel reservations, be sure to identify yourself as an SAA participant to secure the negotiated rates.

Multiple packages within a single shipment should be numbered in sequence. (i.e., 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3).

Handling Charges: boxes less than 5 lbs. – $5.00** each + carrier fee (s); boxes 6 to 20 lbs. – $10.00** each + carrier fee(s); boxes 21 to 50 lbs. – $15.00** each + carrier fee(s); boxes over 50 lbs. – $25.00** each + carrier fee(s); crates and pallets – $75.00** each + carrier fee(s)

2017 Exhibit Location and Times

The exhibit will be open:

Thursday, 6 April: 8:00AM – 6:00PM
Friday, 7 April: 8:00AM – 6:00PM
Saturday, 8 April: 8:00AM – 12:00PM

Wednesday, 5 April – 6:00 pm Set-up can begin (please send credit card authorization to hotel per instructions).
The hotel will not deliver any packages without the credit card authorization.

2017 Charges to Exhibit 

Fees are $350 for one skirted table and $200 for each additional skirted table. The link provided below also offers the opportunity to reserve power ($60) and internet access ($100) for exhibit table(s) and contains an open comments section in which you can convey special requests to the SAA office.

Ad Space in the 2017 Conference Program

Full-page ad (4 3/4″ wide by 8″ tall): $1,000
Half-page ad (4 3/4″ wide by 3 3/4″ tall): $600

Ads must be camera-ready and must be uploaded as PDF files via the form below. The deadline to submit an ad is 15 February 2017.
